CREATIVE DESIGNER

As COVID-19 affected most of the workforce within the industry, I decided to explore into Creative Design and UI/UX development after exploring website development during my tenure in Lantana Services.

Since the role is relatively new to the company, I was involved in major tasks with responsibilities such as:

  • Developing product design concept and mockups to assist with product branding
  • Work with both sales and marketing team consisting of copywriters, customer service in creating a more customer-oriented designs and collaterals
  • Coordinate with agencies and vendors whenever necessary throughout the design implementation process
  • Creation and upkeep of user-centric responsive eCommerce website for the company
  • Involved in conceptualizing, prototyping and finalizing designs and website related assets
  • Study and pinpoint UI/UX-related problems
  • Assisting the business development team in product development, primarily in creative and design affiliated activities

With that said, the projects that I was involved with are as such:

  • Research and strategize potential marketing approach to increase the brand awareness of brands under RFM Global Corporation (Kun Product and KUNTAI)
  • Website revamp for RFM to include eCommerce aspects that focuses on our in-house brand
  • Total overhaul of RFM's line of desserts, specifically the infamous Gula Apong Ice Cream under a separate brand called KUNTAI
  • Led the marketing team in creating a brand launch campaign through curated design and contents with a more minimalistic approach
  • Created both digital and physical collaterals in preparation for the launch, ranging from posters, buntings, digital invitation cards and promotional assets

‍IT TECHNICIAN

My key responsibility within the company is to maintain and manage the following items in order to ensure that the business runs smoothly. My responsibilities encompasses:

  • Deployment and execution of Cybersecurity policy for marine operations both on-shore and off-shore
  • Maintain and service any electronic devices that belongs to the company
  • Manage the upkeep of the local server machine
  • Route and configure network connection for existing and new users within the company

Some of the projects and achievements that I have made throughout working here are:

  • Implementation of company-wide Cybersecurity policy in 2020
  • Develop and designed a refreshed website for the company that was deployed in mid of 2020

As part of the studying criteria in our university, I did a six (6) months internship at a local technical/software servicing company. Throughout my internship period, I was exposed to:

  • Network and telecommunication troubleshooting both offsite and onsite
  • Software servicing and installation
  • Configuring and installation of broadband services for major Internet Service Providers such as Streamyx and UNIFI

I also had the opportunity to assist in developing:

  • Employee reporting system to allow the management to engage and acknowledge the concerns of their employees
